I am sure it is ok to laugh at illustrated jokes.
We used to do it all the time as children and we found that laughter staved off all kings of sicknesses.

[No Fear of Falling]

Nice art for a deep meaning!!! You're right on what you say, no one should feel fear if met with struggles in life, and no one should tell you what to do (unless your eager to listen to them). Experience in life helps one grow, hopefully for us to be better.

Aside from the meaning, the art had some humorous side of it! It looks like the character is having a smirk in the face, saying the phrase "No Problem!" as he descends. He even looks like a hero rescuing the lady below him, while wearing a glass "like a boss".
